“For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know in full, even as I am fully known” (1 Cor. 13:12).
But for now, dim reflections in His face are still brighter than the naked glory of any other. So this blog is dedicated to seeking the glory of His face and so learning to see in the dark.
My name is Jeremy Spainhour. I am married to Keldy. We have four children–Kezek, Ryser, Maccabee, and Radley–so our house is an overflow of all sorts. I have one of those predictable stories of a Jesus person that goes something like I once was lost but now I’m found. I really love being found and I like to talk about it to others who find themselves in a similar kind of story, on one side or the other, so I spend a lot of time writing and talking. I once put at the top of a resume that my mission in life is to preach the Gospel and help form Gospel-centered communities. I think that’s turning out to be true. As an everyday habit, I try to place the Gospel at the center of my home and in my neighborhood, and I currently do the same as a pastor at Crossroads Neighborhood Church in Bremerton, WA. At the end of the day, I think I just want to help people die well. And that’s pretty much it, for now.
Hello! Tracking you down here… Hope I’m not stalking. Just curious if you still have/use an Ambex roaster? Do you like it?
Thanks,
Ben
